IM Global Television is a full-service television studio that develops, finances, produces, and distributes high-quality unscripted and scripted content for the domestic and international marketplace. Led by industry veterans, IM Global Television has been created with a deep well of experience in television development and production, an innovative business approach, and a solid financial foundation. In June 2016, Los Angeles based Tang Media Partners (“TMP”) assumed a controlling ownership position in IM Global to help accelerate the company’s growth initiatives. Simultaneously, TMP arranged a new, expanded television production joint venture among IM Global, TMP, and Tencent Holdings. The IM Global television JV included an innovative first-of-its-kind programming investment fund arranged by TMP.

IM Global Television was launched in July 2014 as a joint venture between Stuart Ford’s IM Global film company and industry veteran Mark Stern to be a full-service television studio that developed, financed, produced, and distributed high-quality scripted content for the domestic and international marketplace.

In June 2016, Los Angeles-based Tang Media Partners (“TMP”) assumed a controlling ownership position in IM Global to help accelerate the company’s growth initiatives. Simultaneously, TMP arranged a new, expanded television production joint venture among IM Global, TMP, and Tencent Holdings. The IM Global Television JV included an innovative first-of-its-kind programming investment fund arranged by TMP. Using this unique model, IM Global Television increased its scripted slate to over 40 projects and added staff to its international distribution and scripted programming teams.

In Spring 2017, an unscripted division was created with Phil Gurin which developed over two-dozen unscripted and alternative programming series in both the domestic and international markets.

In late 2018, TMP assigned all rights to IM Global Television’s unscripted assets to Phil Gurin and its scripted assets to Mark Stern.
